Since we were just discussing the changing sound quality of break drums the other day, it seemed that this would also be a fine time to discuss applications of their use. Obviously, we generally see them in an ensemble context. Today we’ll see them in a solo context in a piece for brake drum and computer. What is the most unique application of a brake drum you have experienced?
